My mom, B. Thompson, is 86 and has Parkinson’s. She was prone to falls and had begun to “shuffle” walk with a pronounced “bent-over” posture. She had to have my assistance every time she got out of bed during the night.

We feel extremely fortunate to have discovered TherHab. Mom began her StrengthHab class in July and can now walk with a normal gait and straight posture. She loves her classes and the friends she has made, and I no longer have to get up with her during the night, giving her back some independence and me more sleep!!"

I want to encourage everyone to try the online classes offered by TherHab Fitness.  I am a fairly new member who had been looking for a place that I could trust to provide exercise that was developed by a professional who really understood how the body works.  I found that at GroupHab Physical Therapy.  Then the Coronavirus struck.  I was feeling my body strengthen but I knew if I stopped exercising it would quickly diminish.   You don’t have to know much about computers to use these online classes!  You will receive an email with a place to click on the class you want.  Click on it and you are in.  I tried the first class and it was great!  It was just like being in a normal class.  It was fun and as I concentrated on the exercises in a mindful way I wasn’t thinking about the chaos in the world.  More and more people are communicating in this way.  Check out Facebook and TV and you will see more and more of this Zooming.   Click on a class when you get your email.  If you have questions call TherHab Fitness.  Try something new!  You will be glad you did!
